Michigan Cherry Coffee Jelly

An easy jelly recipe using Michigan Cherry flavored coffee.
  • .25 oz unflavored gelatin
  • 9 oz HOT coffee
  • 1 oz maple syrup (light or dark)
  1. Brew (or boil) up 9 oz of flavored coffee.
  2. Whisk in unflavored gelatin packet until dissolved.
  3. Stir in 1 oz maple syrup.
  4. Pour liquid to fill jelly canning jar.
  5. Refrigerate until firm, about 4-6 hours.
Feel free to use more or less gelatin depending on your usage.
I typically increase the sugar/syrup sweetener if not using flavored coffee.
Great to spread on hot toast or top with whipped cream for a dessert.
