Want to have some FUN with me?
I just came across a fantastic program sponsored by the Melissa & Doug children’s brand. For the first time, they will be hosting a virtual summer camp. Stock full of great crafts, ideas, coloring sheets, and games; Each week will host a “camp counselor” blog posting weekly challenges. Each designed to help explore the backyard and world around you. Glancing over the first monthly calendar, I am really encouraged. That and I’m honestly asking myself why I pay to take my daughter to summer camp events when something like this seems so much more rewarding.
Thus, I’m beside myself to get a jump start on these awesome inventive projects with my kids each week. Our first {swashbuckling} project will still be session 1, Backyard Pirate Adventure! We’re starting up a bit behind the fray but we’ll work our way current. Feel free to play {& read} along w/us as we check off our projects one by one throughout the summer.
Want to know how to get started too? Then head on over to Camp Sunny Patch headquarters! Once there you’ll find all the great details, downloads, calendars, and printable completion awards for your little backyard campers to succeed at. And the fun doesn’t end there, make sure to check out the Melissa & Doug facebook fanpage as well for a chance to win Sunny Patch goodies each week!
Now…who’s ready for Camp Sunny Patch!
