Welcome to my {daily} post as part of the #BlogHer National Blogging PostingMonth! Or as its more commonly known…NaBloPoMo. Each month there will be a theme, and each day there is a “raw” writing challenge. Each weekend, we are left to our devices to dabble as we please. Length is not a requirement, not even words…only creativity. And the determination to write/post each day, every day, uniquely to the task at hand.
Love comes in all forms. Big love and little loves. True love comes from my handsome hubby. Unconditional love has found me within my children. I have also found that sanity comes in the form of chocolate and decadence comes in the form of Cookie Butter {at least for me it does}. My love for coffee, that is simply a priceless taste of caffeinated heaven.
And then there is my love for caramel. As time has gone on, I have found my favorite caramel concoctions to adorn my days. Brachs caramel apples in the fall, hot salted caramel cocoa in the winter, and Starbucks caramel macchiato’s well, lets just say I get a lot of “green-straw therapy”. And until now, I have sifted thru everything from Werthers to Brachs individual caramels for a quick fix. They were still relished but not exquisitely remembered for long.
Now enter, the Fleur De Sel Caramels from Trader Jacques {aka Trader Joe}. I found this gem recently and it has planted itself in the hallowed halls of my Caramel history. I swear, its nothing but sheer blonde decadence. Even unwrapping each piece is crinkly joy!
Soft but chewy like taffy, this buttery goodness crests your taste buds with full creamy sweetness. All the while the sea salt serves as an undertow towards a balanced aftertaste making your mouth crave for more. Take each piece all in at once or nibble it for extended delight. Any way you choose, you will not be disappointed. Well, at least until they are all gone.
