Welcome to my {daily} post as part of the #BlogHer National Blogging PostingMonth! Or as its more commonly known…NaBloPoMo. Each month there will be a theme, and each day there is a “raw” writing challenge. Each weekend, we are left to our devices to dabble as we please. Length is not a requirement, not even words…only creativity. And the determination to write/post each day, every day, uniquely to the task at hand.
What kind of movies are your favorite? I used to love the thrill and drama of scary movies. I think when we are young, there is this ingrained idealism that bad things only happen in a film reel. But that kind of makes sense when you also grow up believing in single family homes adorned with white picket fences, bought with paychecks issued from long-term loyal places of employment. And after experiencing THAT reality, scary movies just don’t do much for me anymore {lol}.
Alas all the fun isn’t gone. As I do still love the snuggle factor and strong-arm security of heading out with my Husband on a spooky movie date night. One thing that doesn’t age for any gender is the concept of a protective Knight in shining armor. What about you? Do you still enjoy watching scary movies for the thrill or for the snuggle?

Definitely for the snuggle factor. I am a whimp! I love sappy romantic comedies like “You Got Mail”, or ” When Harry Met Sally”. My favorites always have happy endings….Yes, Queen of the Sappy movies..
