Chungaboo: Language Series Learning App

I love Apples. I love the fruit crisp; I love the fruit juiced; and I especially love the technology it represents. I doubt our lives will ever go back to being Apple app-less. And the Chungaboo Language Series iPad app is one example why.

A highly innovative and interactive design, this app makes learning FUN for both child or adult. I marveled at the fact that it can accommodate up to 21 possible language combinations. My daughter simply loved how involved it kept her as she steadfastly repeated its verbiage and played along with the action based visuals. The card toss game was an especially great feature for us both and kept her wired to learn more.

In just one week, I’ve even noticed her preschool lisp fading as she’s been more intent on correctly pronouncing her daily vocabulary. And this because the learning app applies its directive to encompass sight, touch, and sound. For her {as a Preschooler} I selected just the single language mode in English to play with. She’s now able to familiarize herself with basic “starter” words for both sight reading and the correct way to stress each syllable. Proving the perfect home-school aide for us now; I can also see how it would greatly benefit in supplementing foreign language courses {for any age} as well.

And as an adult using it; I got to flash-back to Spanish 101 and wow! I’d have done much better in my high-school class if I’d had Chungaboo to learn from. I enabled the double language mode so it would show me both the English and the translated {correctly spoken mind you} Spanish version. I also hopped around this feature to see how seemlessly it went on to teach Chinese, German, Italian, and French as well. After my exploration was complete, it was enough to get my mind imagining I may just see Paris in the spring some day!
