Mommy Paparazzi

I am obsessed with taking pictures of my kids. {Yeah you! LOL}

With my daughter, and as a first-time Mommy does, I made sure to try to get her to smile in every shot. Considering she was a happy baby that proved easy till she was about two. At that point, I’d simply get “the look”. {It was a rather irritating phase for me.} But even if I did find the right gag or gift to flash that smile, I never got her to stand still.

Thus, I had to resort to finding the art in those I did snap. Unfortunately that meant going through the “odd-angle” mommy-paparazzi phase. Except it was a lot less “red-carpet” and more “ambush from the bushes” type photography. Thankfully, it was a short phase.

Now that we have added the Little Man into the mix, I’ve found that simple Life photos are proving the best option. Never having time to crack open those baby books, instead I record all the magical Mommy moments on film. Plus, I figure when I enter the Scrapbooking Mommy phase, it will all come together quite nicely. {If not, then I’ve made our online digital storage facility VERY happy.}

So allow me to share my favorite pot-shot of the week…our trip to the grocery store. Its actually becoming my favorite place. Mom gets her Iced Coffee from a Starbucks kiosk and they get a loaf of .99-cent artisan bread with free cheese samples at the deli. And POOF! Everybody is happy!
