I don’t know about you, but having two small kids for us means that our meals don’t vary too much. And since I refuse to start plating dinner like a short-order cook; I’m always looking for great ways to infuse new flavor to the basic foods we serve. Last week, I found out that if you tweet Kraft {@kraftdressing} with a food item, they will respond with a Dressing recipe for you try! Always game for a good time I tweeted away!
@kraftdressing I’m using fruit…do you have a #dresscipe for me? #AnythingDressing

While I waited to hear back from them, I also checked out the Kraft Anything Dressing website for new ideas on my own. And WOW! So many great ideas! Always a fan of football, buffalo chicken is a household staple. So I selected the Roka Blue Cheese dressing and voila! Up comes a smorgasbord of great recipes all using Kraft Dressings to jazz them up. I quickly found one we had to try…Check out this Easy Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip! With that I was off to WalMart to grab the few supplies we would need to make weekend meals fancy with Kraft dressings.
Since weather had turned sour, I left the kids at home and ran out by myself. {Can you say Mommy me-time time? LOL} You can also come alone to see my entire shopping trip here {Making a Family Feast Fancy With Kraft Anything Dressings}. But as you can see, I loaded up on great Kraft dressings at WalMart to make our meal perfect.
I actually whipped up multiple Dresscipes from the 3 Kraft Pourable Dressings I chose.
- We glazed apples with Raspberry Vinaigrette.
- We blended Buttermilk Ranch into cream cheese and buffalo spice for an incredible dip.
- We drizzled Roka Blue Cheese over buffalo chicken wraps.
Our personal creation “dresscipes” were pretty straight forward. For our Kraft Raspberry Vinaigrette, the kids loved getting the chance to dip and “paint” the apples with dressing. We just used apples, but the sky is the limit to using this sweet dressing with any type of fruit.
Next up was our Kraft website inspired veggie and cracker dip. We took the Easy Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip {mentioned above} and altered it to our own needs. For our dip, we omitted the chicken and mixed a 1/4 cup Kraft Buttermilk Ranch into 1/2 a block of softened Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese. {We softened our cream cheese with a quick spin in the microwave.} Then we added in our 1-1/2 tbsp of our Buffalo Wing spice to taste. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top for some added texture. Next time we’ll even be popping a jalapeno slices on top!
Last but not least, we whisked the rest of our Buffalo Wing spice packet with 1/4 cup melted butter to coat our breaded chicken strips. Grabbing prepared chicken at our local deli is go-to favorite of ours. For this meal, we left half the chicken plain for the kids. Overall, we LOVED the new way to keep the kids happy but with a little Kraft Dressing added, I was able to jazz up my meal in a snap. And Pete, {my husband} was all about devouring the Buffalo Chicken wraps laden with Kraft Roka Blue Cheese.

I love these ideas! I’ve been stuck on plain ranch dressing my whole life. I should mix things up a bit! Thanks for the great dresscipes!
