Okay…so every Momma lives a little vicariously through her children. And I’ll always strive to let my kids lead their own path. However I do confess to harboring a secret list of pre-planned exuberance should her interests ever lean toward my daydreams. {Totally unsolicited of course.} So it utterly delighted my pink ballerina dreams to have been blessed with such a girly-girl dancer.
Thus, she was elated to try dance class for the first time whereas I was just as ecstatic to dress her up in head-to-toe Disney Princess Capezio. A beginner preschool class, it was more about learning to follow and take direction then strenuous movements. Her next series of classes will introduce tap, which I really think she’ll love too. And little does she know how much fun Mom is going to have finding that online. {LOL}
So tell me true. What things do you simply love doing with your kids?

She is precious. My niece has been doing ballet/tap since she was 3. This month I am taking her to see the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center (she is now 8) and she is beyond excited. I only went once as an adult and remember it was magical. I have been dying to take her but wanted her to be old enough to remember it. Wait until your daughter starts tap! Amanda loves it, and yes, my sister has wood floors. Enjoy the weekend.

I love your comments Winnie! Tap will be fun! I’m so excited for her, I keep thinking that THIS is my favorite age and then the next year its just keeps getting better. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a GREAT weekend too! 😀

What a beautiful princess! Love it! I love sharing musical moments with my kids! The other night we were able to sing a 3 part rendition of Silent Night in the car with our kids! It was heavenly! Love sharing moments with the kids!
