This football #GameTimeGoodies sponsored post has been brought to you by a #CollectiveBias social shopper amplification campaign.
The big game is rolling into New Jersey this year! So stay off the sidelines {aka kitchen} and ready to scrimmage for those commercials. Because I’ve got some great football game time food idea to give your taste-buds a trophy winning touchdown. Come on and huddle up, I can’t wait to show you this hot tabletop option!
As the guests stroll in for the big game, serve up some appetizing Ham & Cheese Hot Pockets. Don’t just save these for breakfast or the kids afternoon snack. Complete with a croissant crust, slice each up for one handy ready-to-go treat. We like to microwave these ones to keep the croissant soft. The bonus is that they’re even good as they cool!
The pre-game starts but the main dishes haven’t? Then make your best bud wiser by passing him a Hot Pocket Pepperoni Pizza to silence the squabble. Baked for 28 minutes this garlic buttery seasoned crust is an envelope of spicy, mozzarella goodness. All the taste, none of the mess. And of course, also microwave friendly like its cousin the Ham & Cheese.
Experience your own 3-Cone Drill with Nestle Crunch {dipped} Drumstick cones. With flavors like Vanilla, Vanilla Caramel and Vanilla Fudge. I’m certain you’ll agree this is one right triangle of tastiness. Toss in a handful of the Buncha Crunch bits and its you’ll be in cruncha heaven! More into kicking back with a big bowl to watch the commercials? Then make sure to bring home the Edy’s {limited edition} Touchdown Sundae ice cream. Filled with vanilla ice cream with a delight of caramel filled footballs and fudge swirl its sure to entertain you as much as the half time show.
And onto the main foodie event! As the game heats up and the commercials engage, keep it easy for yourself and handy for your guests. What football party is a party without pizza? Don’t let delivery steal your thunder, do it with Digiorno! We knocked on our freezer and ordered up the Digiorno {rising crust} Supreme Pizza. And I gotta say…I’m always so impressed with the amount of toppings!
Also, make sure to serve up hot cups of Stouffer’s {party size} Lasagna {with meat sauce}. Seriously, don’t let your coffee have all the fun. These handy-dandy cups with keep your food hot and easy to handle. AND you can find these at Walmart too when you stop by for all these great foodie ideas!
Personally, I stuff shredded iceburg lettuce on the bottom and layer in the hot lasagna on top. Cap it with a lid, stuff a fork down the side and its a vented masterpiece that’s easily handled at a busy party or reheated later. Keep things even more fun by having door prizes for people that actually eat the lettuce too. {I’m betting its the one that eats the celery near the buffalo sauce too.}
And that’s it football fans! This year I wanted to keep all my football foodie eats finger friendly and easy on the kitchen. Hope you enjoyed them, and let me know what your favorite game day food is!
Don’t forget, game day this year is February 2nd and kick off is at 6:30pm. You can find these great football foodie party eats at your local Walmart. Enjoy!
