This #HoneyBakedEaster sponsored post has been brought to you by Business 2 Blogger and their client. As always my thoughts, opinions, and holiday foodie enthusiasm are my own. Thank you!
Nothing makes a holiday more delicious then a menu from HoneyBaked foods. A foodie delight for every budget and gathering, I’m thrilled to have a local store to visit. In fact, we shop there more then just for the holidays too. Its become a go-to for fast easy meals, and its just that tasty!
This year, we’ll be venturing to celebrate Easter with family again. But that doesn’t stop us from heading to HoneyBaked beforehand. If anything, our tradition is serving up a hot plate when we’re finally back home.
Having a young family, eating is often just like the old adage learned with sleeping. You eat when they do. And my kids? Well they eat fast, if at all when reconnected with long-distant relatives. So we nibble, and rest assured that HoneyBaked has us covered when we return home.
And what a meal to come home to! HoneyBaked is more then just the Ham that its initially known for. They serve up an amazing slow-roasted and smoked turkey breast. Hand sliced and glazed with the same sweet crunchy glaze, you can get enough to feed an army. And if you also have a local store, you can be like us and simply grab a few pounds individually packaged. Every budget, every size…HoneyBaked is all about fitting your needs.
Plus if you need side dishes, they’ll have you covered as well. HoneyBaked has a wide range of Heat & Serve sides to delight every tastebud. We get home and preheat the oven to 375. Ten minutes later, the sides are slightly vented and popped in the oven for 25 minutes. Just stir them once and you’ll be eating in no-time!
And the turkey? Well the entire roast is fully cooked, so that can be eaten cold or heated in the oven as well. However, as I mentioned above, we typically buy it individually packaged in smaller amounts. But what we love to do as well, is stock the HoneyBaked turkey roast as well. This roast is also pre-cooked and packaged with turkey gravy. So we set it in our crock pot on low before we leave for the day, and come home to just cook our sides.
My point is, that Easter traditions are what you make of them, or simply what you may just make yourself. Even if those traditions include an amazing late-night dessert. While carrot cake is notably an Easter favorite, we love the HoneyBaked favorite, Coconut Cake. We especially love how our local Michigan store will sell it by the piece. And I can never seem to leave the store without a Gourmet Cheesecake Sampler.
But how does it taste, you ask? Divine. The slow-roasted turkey breast is pre-sliced and tastes fresh, never old or “gamey”. Plus the slices are the perfect size for the left-over sandwich we all adore. The turkey roast will melt in your mouth, and can be easily sliced, or simply pulled apart by a fork for serving. This year we sampled the Green Bean Casserole {so good}, the Macaroni and Cheese {creamy-cheesy greatness}, as well as the Cinnamon Spiced Apples {OMG}. A meal in and of itself, I found myself glad I didn’t make mashed potatoes!
And I found a new favorite. The Cinnamon Spiced Apples will be a staple from here on out. Not only do they change things up from serving cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving {and often Christmas}. But they are awesome served as a garnish over the turkey. AND they are amazing over the plain New York Style cheesecake found in the Gourmet Sampler Platter.
But why be all talk and not share something with you too? First of all, not only do I have a HoneyBaked coupon for you, but also make sure to enter below for your own chance to be 1 of 20 {that’s TWENTY} winners for a $50 HoneyBaked foods gift card.
