This #SummerGoodies sponsored post has been brought to you by a #CollectiveBias social shopper amplification campaign and its advertiser. Are you ready heat that grill up for pizza and party?
Are you hungry? I know I’m always hungry for my favorite comfort foods. Namely? Pizza and ice cream. Like there even needs to be a reason to party when those those two items are headlining the menu!
But while ice cream is great in this hotter weather – who wants to stay indoors to cook a pizza? {Not me that’s for sure.} So bring it outdoors with the cooler of your new peanut butter Drumsticks. Because Jacks Original thin crust pizza is made for grilling now!
That’s right, you can grill it! So with one of the first few warm weekends we’ve had, I hopped over to Walmart to grab a few Jack’s new and improved original thin crust pizza. Its honestly been so long since we had this kind, I was slack-jawed how affordable they still are!
I mean come on…a frozen pizza for $2.50? Lets just say my grocery budget is very happy this month. And so were my taste-buds. Because these had more then enough cheese and toppings for a thin crust pizza.
I bought them on Saturday and left then in the fridge to thaw. On Sunday, we preheated our gas grill to 400° to toss them on for 12-15 minutes. Its important to note they need to be rotated 180° once. The end result is a crust that is thin and crispy creating an super tasty pizza!
But of course, when it comes to our freezer favorites I love to change it up. So as you can see from our pictures here – I’d taken all the toppings off one pizza to place on the second. To which once the cheese pizza was cooked, I added 1/2 cup pizza cheese and then placed the second loaded pizza on top of the cheese pizza. A few more minutes on the grill and the extra cheese acts as a bonding agent bringing together a delightfully double-stacked grilled favorite.
So say adios to that hot, overheated kitchen! Embrace the outdoors as you gather together this summer and enjoy some great pizza – at a great cost – for an amazing taste. And with this easy double-stack hack, your Jack’s Original Thin Crust freezer favorite will appease every belly looking for a light or heavier meal.
Personally, we’re moving right now. And as we pack, its a great comfort to know that we can use our grill even more for our favorite fast dinners. Plus…as you stand there you can also embrace the ice creamy goodness of Drumsticks new peanut butter variety boxes. Cause hey…whats dinner without a little grill tax?
So for your next grilling adventure – make sure to take a quick trip down the freezer aisle at your local Walmart. But before you go, what different summer goodies do you always look forward to buying?
