Back To School With Digiorno Pizzas: Is It On Your List?

I have a first grader now. {And a pre-schooler!} Saying that I’m left constantly amazed at how fast time flies is an understatement. Like any Mom, I am excited for them as I scour Pinterest for the best back-to-school ideas. But you know what I really look forward to? Pizza.

And not just any pizza. My pizza. That once a year, just-for-me cheesiness, that helps me find my late-night solace before the first day of school. Whether its all done or you’re up till 2am detagging, prepping, and printing grade posters for pictures. You know that night {and all the others} that make you acutely aware that time does not stand still.

Thus a new tradition came about. In the midst of collecting the pencils, scissors, and crayons…I get to think about myself too. And I make sure to stop in the freezer aisle at Walmart for my own supplies. This year? We get this party started in the form of Digiorno small pizzas.

Hello party-of-one, your comfort food is waiting.

Life is a celebration. So don’t forget to bring your invite! And in effort to be prepared for anything, I took home a Stuffed Crust Four Cheese small pizza as well as Pepperoni Dipping Strips. It may not be delivery…but Digiorno really does deliver in my book!

So as you get to prepping all those goodies for a new school year, remember yourself. If not for you, Pinterest would be twiddling its thumbs. Your kids would have no picture to prove they actually wanted to go to school. And retailers would have had to rely on marketing for Halloween in July.

Basically, you rock the world. So pre-heat that oven. Take a few bites of food-induced joy. And celebrate creating another year of memories you’ll tell your grandchildren one day.
