The Potty Training Trials: Overnight Diapers

Potty training. Oh that last big milestone of baby-dom. The dawning age of life after diapers is glimmering on the horizon. And for me, its one of the last daily reminders that I merely play a supportive role in these triumphs. Try as I might, I cannot press this success any further then the Lil’ Dude is willing to go. Literally.

But what I can do? As always, I can simply make sure he has all the tools he needs when he is ready. And as with every step of our diaper journey…that now means finding the most absorbent diaper for his overnight tribulations. And the results have been astounding. As with every other milestone, I fretted for no reason. We actually layer the overnight diaper over his big-boy “super power” unders. Of which we typically have a huge fanfare parade in the successful venture of another dry night. And with the added confidence its brought him, he’s doing better at waking up without overnight issues.
