This coupon loving #BabyDiapersSavings sponsored post has been brought to you by a #CollectiveBias social shopper amplification campaign and its advertiser. What great tips do you have for potty-training parents?
Potty training. Oh that last big milestone of baby-dom. The dawning age of life after diapers is glimmering on the horizon. And for me, its one of the last daily reminders that I merely play a supportive role in these triumphs. Try as I might, I cannot press this success any further then the Lil’ Dude is willing to go. Literally.
But what I can do? As always, I can simply make sure he has all the tools he needs when he is ready. And as with every step of our diaper journey…that now means finding the most absorbent diaper for his overnight tribulations. So when I’m in the diaper aisle of Walmart, I know just what he {and my budget} needs. Parent’s Choice overnight diapers.
And was it ever weird using a diaper again after spending so much time in trainers! But the trainers are meant to be thin and double as underwear. And they did the job…because during our days, we don’t even need trainers anymore. But I found our overnights are either absolutely dry or soaking wet. And those thin little trainers? Simply weren’t doing the job when duty called.
Thus I’d already trolled the diaper aisle at Walmart pondering the aspect of using diapers again at night. I’m not a stranger to using private label diapers. I was just fretting over how wearing a diaper again would bring us closer {or farther} from our potty training goals. And there are lots of different overnight options. But really…no matter how the sides come undone…a diaper is still a diaper. So I bought a value box of the overnight diapers and hoped for the best.
And the results have been astounding. As with every other milestone, I fretted for no reason. We actually layer the overnight diaper over his big-boy “super power” unders. Of which we typically have a huge fanfare parade in the successful venture of another dry night. And with the added confidence its brought him, he’s doing better at waking up without overnight issues.
And if the occasional accident happened? No worries. Because one reason I love buying overnight diapers at Walmart is this new and improved absorbency. This includes a blue colored panel inside so I can actually see how well it will do for boys. Now my little belly-sleeper can rest assured that if accidents still happen, he’s covered…all within an inch of the front top.
Plus, these final boxes of babyhood have let this Momma reminisce. But not about the exorbitant cost of buying diapers. I can see why 3 our of 4 Mom’s agree Parent’s Choice diapers are as good as or better then current name brands. Plus, complete with coupon, Walmart makes sure my wallet is just as happy as my heart about tossing out that dry diaper the next morning. And that gets me even more excited about seeing my little man grow up!
