There comes a certain point in every woman’s life when she realizes two things. The power of a great red lipstick. And more importantly…the point when “anti-aging” products are actually talking about you. After hitting that big 3-5, I realized that my minimalist approach to skin care needed an overhaul.
We all know that with age, your body changes. But so does your skin. What worked in your 20’s, isn’t going to work long in your 30’s. Thankfully, I’ve realized this before I hit my 40’s. But that still doesn’t help when facing aisles upon aisle of beauty products.
So as with my preference for food. I like to keep things easy. So here are my five easy tips to better skin. Not just for your face, but your whole body.
1. Moisturize.
You can drink lots of water, but you still need to find a good moisturizer. So if you do nothing else, make sure to take care of these four areas. Your face, neck, chest, and hands.
2. Sunscreen.
I have to admit, I get far too busy with the kids to often get my own back. But numerous sunburns and sun damage to my chest and hands show where I’ve lacked using a multi-function beauty product.
While not a sunscreen itself, I love that the new NO-AD anti-aging body moisturizer includes broad spectrum SPF 15. Going beyond other moisturizers, this additional layer of protection helps in achieving beautiful skin 365 day a year.
3. Exfoliate.
Taking care of your skin is more than what you put on it. Its what you also take off of it. And finding a good way to exfoliate is key for beautiful skin.
Opt for a facial. Invest in a good cleaner and body loofah. I’m even addicted to those shaving mittens for my legs. Whatever you choose, this is key to healthier skin. And the best part, is it doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
4. Create healthy skin routine.
Do I even need to say it? One reason my morning ritual has changed is due to the NO-AD Prevent & Brighten anti-aging moisturizer. Its been a Godsend for rescuing my dry hands from the brink of disaster. So when I reach for my coffee mug, I reach for my new NO-AD Prevent & Brighten bottle.
Its not just your face that needs daily care. My biggest lesson I’m learning right now is how to take better care of the skin on my hands. And with the promise of 36 hour deep hydration, even once a day will help do more for my hands.
5. Nourish.
Is this the one that will get you? It sounds simple, but you need to find the proper nourishment. Eat better. Overhaul the grocery list and find those anti-oxidents and vitamins such as A, B6, C, D, and E. Beauty really does start on the inside.
And there you have it. Five easy ways that you can create new habits for better skin. It sounds so simple doesn’t it?
Personally, I wasn’t moisturizing enough. There were areas on my back I couldn’t reach, so I always thought I’d take care of it later. When motherhood got busy, I would get lazy properly exfoliating. And my poor hands never saw sunscreen. Not to mention that I discovered that my skin’s increasing redness was dietary related.
The beauty aisle will always be endless. But all the products in the world won’t help if you don’t practice self care first. And with time as tight as it is, at least I know the NO-AD has my whole body covered.
Plus its great to have my hands back in my pictures again! As a foodie blogger, I want to hold great eats or coffee up to show you. But my hands are always getting washed for one reason or the other. With a unique 36-hour deep hydration, NO-AD is just what my dry, cracking hands needed.
Are you ready to face the day a whole new way? You can find your own tremendous value using NO-AD with this great coupon.
