This #Snackation sponsored post has been compensated by The J.M. Smucker Company. As always, my classic wandering snack opinions are my own.
The summer is winding down now. And with the cooler weather, comes a different kind of adventure. One where classroom bells ring and leaves crunch, and apples fall. But before autumn is embraced; we have one last week to enjoy all that summer has to offer. What do I remember about summers and snacking growing up? That’s easy…Goober Grape PB & J. Forget spreading it on anything, just hand me a spoon and I swear I am transported. A veritable swirl of tasty memories. All in one jar.
So it got me thinking of what my little ones would remember most about summer. They’re off this week having fun. Meaning I actually got to wander around Walmart for a little snackation inspiration. That is when I found my destination…in the peanut butter aisle.
Food enlightens; like books, food can transport you to places all over the world. It can even take you places no one has ever been. Some of that might be for good reason. But other times, how often have you just wandered looking for something untested? Something new just for the experience it would bring you?
The best part about snackation destinations? They don’t have to be exotic. And they aren’t required to be expensive. It doesn’t even need to take up much of your time. I found a few new things {and some old favorites} and brought them home.
And now for the fun. Taste testing and brainstorming just where they will take us! For instance, these JIF To Go cups seem perfect to pair with the Sprinkler Park next week. Or with a short break on a nature walk. Creamy and delectable, this is sure to create happy memories during snack time with the kids!
Are you ready to get your own go-to snack solutions? Well I know I’ll be heading back to Walmart for a couple more snackation goodies when the kids return. Then I’ll be posting again on just where our peanut buttery adventures took us. Where will your snacks take you?
