There are fewer things in life that I adore as much as cold brewed coffee. But one of them is pie. Especially fruit pies. So essentially creating a baked fruit crumble for breakfast with said coffee? Well that’s just utter euphoric genius.
Getting started, I like to cold brew an iced coffee concentrate by adding 16oz Vita Coco to 1/2c grounds. I mean, coffee with electrolytes? Sign…me…up. But wait, there’s more! Like a little preview of a crispy fruit crumble infused with Brasilia Blueberry Bai5. Because coffee isn’t the only bottle of greatness to perk you up.
For instance, I was positively parched the other day at Walmart. Thankfully they make it really easy to find my favorites right by the check-out. I prefer the Snapple Straight Up Tea. But I used to drink Diet Snapple like it was going out of style.
But keep your eyes out as well for a cooler filled with Bai5 at the register too. Each bottle offers a fresh fruit flavor infused with a coffeefruit. Antioxidant rich, this “super-fruit” is combined with organic stevia, white tea, and juice concentrates. All to offer you a 5-calorie bottle of awesomeness.
Hydration is always key to healthy living. Not only that, but replacing your filtered water with those infused with antioxidants or electrolytes is an easy way to sip and be fit. For instance, pouring 2-3 tbsp of Bai5 into a berry medley ramekin for an easy breakfast crumble.
And its just that easy to infuse more antioxidants into your day. Preheat your oven to 350°. These beauties will bake for about 30 minutes. Cover if you want them more “crumble” than “crisp”. The easy topping recipe can be found below.
- 1c Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2c Unsalted Butter
- 1c Oatmeal
- 1c Flour
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Apple Pie Spice
- Pinch of Salt
- Combine all dry toppings and seasonings in a medium bowl.
- Cut in unsalted butter until dry ingredients turn crumbly.
- Use for covering any baked fruit or pie.
And not only do I have a coupon for you to try Bai5. But you can also earn a free $1 rebate as well, yours for simply joining ibotta. And how about I infuse a great giveaway to share with you too!
