It wasn’t long ago that I cut the cable cord. And it was fun to discover the different options I could use. But something was missing that’s only now begun to be introduced. And that element is watching TV without the TV.
For me, I went back to cable until streaming my favorite networks online became easier. But with blogging, I find I’m always on the go. And you can’t live the laptop lifestyle and not miss watching your favorite TV shows regularly.
As a girl from the 90’s…NBC set the Midwestern stage for me and medical drama’s with ER. Being a fan of Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, I couldn’t wait for the most recent spin-off. And that ladies and gents, is Chicago Med. And with the “TV Everywhere” concept, NBC has made it possible to simply log in and watch your favorite Chicago trifecta.
So utter convenience meets absolute affordability and mobility. Plus, I can indulge in even more NBC shows such as Heroes Reborn, Blacklist, and The Voice. All while taking a break on the road, or in the comforts of my own wifi.
What I also love about desktop streaming is that I can use headphones and watch shows rated TV 14+ after the kids have gone to bed. Now I never worry about them hearing or walking in on a questionable scene. And if the first two episodes of Chicago Med are any indication; the newest state of the art trauma center to service Chicago TV Land will be an emotional thrill ride!
Are you ready for the next generation of streaming? Which great NBC fan favorite would you love to stream next?
