And such smiles generally start with utter convenience. Namely, Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookie mixes. I realize how many love sugar cookies this time of year. But our memories are fostered with cookie cakes and delectable whipped frosting. So that is what we’ll be crafting up to give away!
First up, pour the entire pouch of Betty Crocker cookie mix into your mixing bowl. Then add one stick of butter and one egg. I love when its just…that…easy! And just LOOK at all those amazing chocolate chips! I had to keep my little ones wanting to pick them out of the bowl!
Now comes the fun part. I skip the cookie sheet and grab my muffin pan instead! Lining each cavity with a paper cupcake liner, we’re ready for cookie dough. Then we use a cookie scoop to equally portion each cookie in for baking.
With a preheated oven at 375° degrees, it took us double the cooking time when using a cookie sheet. But so well worth it! Now we set the muffin pan aside to cool and got to getting our gift box ready!
Our bright blue box was filled with another package of Betty Crocker Cookie Mix as well as holiday plates and napkins. I found some great red filler as well.
Another really fun part? The easy printables that Betty Crocker has for gifting as well! I downloaded and printed these coloring sheets and gift tags. Order up for big smiles!
Next, we removed the chocolate chip cookies to ready for frosting! Betty Crocker has the best whipped vanilla frosting. Once again, grab your cookie scoop and dollop in. The warm cookies will melt the frosting to the perfect ooey-gooey delightfulness.
If you wish, you can also spread the dollop of frosting into the cookie more. Personal preference applies. However one scoop of cookie and one scoop of frosting should meet the top of the cupcake liner perfectly.
Once we had our cookies complete? We brought back out our gift box. Having filled it with all our goodies above, it was the perfect height to layer the top with frosted cookies.
The only thing left to do? Prep for gifting! I cut out the tag and we were ready to go. Now the only challenge would be no little fingers in the frosting before we get there!
So if you’re out and about, stop by Target and pick up your own Betty Crocker cookie mix too! With great pouch selections like peanut butter, chocolate chip, and sugar cookie you’ll always find a favorite. And at just $1.89, its great budget friendly fun to create special memories with!
