I don’t know about you. But I love to surf the web for easy and fun new recipes to try. And I was thrilled to find a great Kraft Hub on walmart.com called Make Every Day Delicious was forwarded my way. You can vote to have your favorite recipe featured. But moreover…totally easy and fun recipes to jazz up your everyday favorites.
I also don’t know about you. But always wonder if the recipe will be…look…and taste anything like it is online. So I picked the Savory Mini Cheese Balls and couldn’t wait to get started!
First up…this is one easy recipe that solves so many problems! Smaller cheese balls mean less double dipping. As well as easier to save, share, and spread the deliciousness. After making this recipe. I would wager you can even make them smaller {up to 12} to give your guests more individual options.
To begin, you’ll need 2 packages of Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese. You’ll only use 12 oz of the 16 oz total however. I used a knife to score even increments before cutting.
I followed the recipe exactly. So after prepping my cream cheese. I started dicing up the fresh herbs: Thyme, Rosemary, and Parsley. I have to say…nothing beats the smell and taste of using freshly cut herbs. Once complete, I rolled my 2 mini cheese balls and set them aside.
As you can see, this recipe didn’t call for just one, not two, but three different tasty out-of-your-tastebuds savory mini cheese balls. So I pulled out the minced garlic, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds next.
And while I combined the seeds and garlic in a bowl, I found it so much easier to roll the next two mini cheese balls on a plate. This allowed me a more even seed distribution without handling the cheese ball too much.
And last but certainly not least, I pulled out dried cranberries and pecans. Once again, mixing them in a bowl was optimal. And then using a plate to roll them proved best. But really…how can one go wrong with cranberry and pecan anything?
And there you have it. Fast, easy, and an utterly so tasty Mini Cheese Balls recipe that does look exactly like the Kraft recipe to view and vote on. So make sure to see this and other tasty recipe ideas {plus coupons} at the Walmart.com Hub “Make Every Day Delicious”.
Quite frankly, I love the idea of serving up a variety of cheese balls during the holidays. Which Mini Cheese Ball would be your favorite?
