Coffee is a gift from the heavens. But as much as I adore sipping it, there’s one thing that most people don’t chat about. That avid brewing enthusiasts such as myself, frequently use tooth whitening products. But with that, also came my perpetual search for an all-natural sensitive toothpaste.
Whenever I can, I prefer to use products made from natural ingredients. Which is why Tom’s Of Maine™ children’s toothpaste is currently what my kids are using. Being familiar with this brand, I’d always been encouraged that they do not use artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors or preservatives. The packaging is even fully recyclable through TerraCycle Tom’s of Maine™ Recycling Program.
Personally, I also have a difficult time ingesting artificial sweeteners. So getting a chance to review a toothpaste that uses Xylitol was a great incentive. My dentist actually referred me to using this sugar substitute years ago. And I especially love its referenced use in the Tom’s Of Maine™ Rapid Relief Sensitive toothpaste is for plaque/acid reduction.
All that aside? To date, I’d yet to find a quality sensitive toothpaste that could really help with teeth sensitivity after tooth whitening. So this new product’s claim to relieve sensitive teeth in as little as a minute? Let’s just say I was more than eager to test it out. And the outcome is that this is a sensitive toothpaste that not only worked for me, but is one I’ll continue to use.
But just how does this sensitive toothpaste differ from others? By using naturally derived arginine and calcium carbonate to actually seal the pathways to the sensitive tooth nerves. No other sensitive toothpaste in the US uses this method. Another great bonus? You can also save $1.50 right now by printing a coupon directly from the Tom’s of Maine™ website.
So where am I now? One week later I have the referenced “continued use”, 24/7 long-lasting protection. I can also sip my favorite dark roast without concern for how my teeth will feel right then, as well as when I need to whiten them again. And while I love the fresh mint flavor, perhaps now Tom’s Of Maine™ can solve the next perpetual coffee drinker problem. A non-flavored toothpaste for mornings before my first cup!
