In other words…you know what you’re bringing to the table. So there’s your recipe to print above. But come follow along as I show your just how tasty this recipe is to make.
To begin…you’ll heat up your Simply Potatoes® Traditional Mashed Potatoes as directed. However, this recipe was inspired to make use of your leftovers. So you will need to allow them to cool to the touch first.
Next, you’ll grab those frozen turkey meatballs. The frozen state will actually help retain the meatball moisture as they are cooked. But also allow the mashed taters to not completely dry out as well.
Now I’m going to warn you. This is one recipe where you get to play with your food! And those fingers are going to get messy. All that is needed is a thin coat of potato to allow the cheese and crumbs to stick. But feel free to build up your turkeyballs as large as you choose.
If you prep your table with a plate of cheese and a bowl for the crumbs, the assembly line that is all-things-turkey-meatball is much easier. Once coated, place your cheesy tater turkey meatballs in a single layer within your air-fryer basket. Set to 360° for 10 minutes.
Don’t have an air-fryer? No worries. Just bake coated meatballs in a covered dish, as directed on your frozen meatball packaging.
And there you have it! One simple cheesy turkey meatball recipe. And some really great traditional mashed potatoes too.
