Living in Michigan, we got our first Winter Storm Warning this week. And for once the closures came in by 9pm the day before. Meaning we were able to smile at sleeping in, snowmen kits, and all the hot cocoa we could plan for! 

Because what is sweeter than memories of kids and hot cocoa? One of my earliest memories was coming home from school on winter days. But we still had fun working together. And the kids played. Plans to make that elusive snowman were hatched. And a passing snow plow did a huge favor by polishing up where where we needed help the most.
