This #StephensGourmet post has been sponsored by Stephen’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa. And has been made possible by my membership with the Mom It Forward Influencer Network. As always, my hot cocoa lovin’ opinions are my own.
Living in Michigan, we got our first Winter Storm Warning this week. And for once the closures came in by 9pm the day before. Meaning we were able to smile at sleeping in, snowmen kits, and all the hot cocoa we could plan for!
Because what is sweeter than memories of kids and hot cocoa? One of my earliest memories was coming home from school on winter days. I rode that school bus for what seemed like forever…and our driveway at the time was SO long. But sure enough my Mom would have a hot mug of that steaming chocolate waiting to warm me up.
So when it comes to warming up my children on cold days? It’s all about the gourmet hot cocoa! And this snow day was magical. Closure notice the night before is a rarity. We drifted off to sleep with sweet expectations of snowmen. Of course we woke up to nearly 9 inches of powder and a shovel. It took us a good hour to dig ourselves out!
But we still had fun working together. And the kids played. Plans to make that elusive snowman were hatched. And a passing snow plow did a huge favor by polishing up where where we needed help the most.
If every cup of hot cocoa you’ve ever had has to live up to the ones you were when you were a kid? Then Stephen’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa is the way to go. Both to remember the perfect rich and creamy cup. But to also set that standard for years to come.
And one of our favorite flavors from Stephen’s is the ever popular, Candycane Cocoa. Ya’ll…this is the next best thing to stealing candy canes from the Christmas Tree! I was amazed opening the tin to even see the chips of peppermint waiting to be melted in your cup. And the scent of this stirring up? It was pure holiday happiness.
But with 22 different gourmet flavors…Stephen’s is more than just hot cocoa. Great for gifting and for adding pomp to a recipe. The ways you can sprinkle more richness in your holly and jolly is inspiring. And the perfect pairing to Santa, and reindeer, and all things homemade on the tree.
